Southern Scents of Arkansas started out as a hobby in my kitchen back in 2005 and a 2 burner hot plate :). I became fascinated with making candles because I have love burning them and thought this is something I would love to do.
Learning how to wick them properly so they burn without leaving a lot of wasted wax was the hardest part. I set out to make the "perfect candle" well as perfect as I could get them.
After many years of testing, (and alot of failing) I am finally able to produce high quality candles that I am finally proud to put the name of Southern Scents of Arkansas on.
How are our candles created? Everyone of them are hand poured and made in small batches (by me personally) and I test burn each new fragrance and jar combination until I am pleased with the results before offering them for sale. We also use lead free wicks.
Most of our candles are made at the time of order so you know you are getting the freshest, highest quality candle possible.
